MARK
FELDSTEIN
Co-President & Creative Partner
After watching an estimated 5.4 million hours of television as a child, Mark Feldstein was determined to turn all his useless knowledge about pop culture into a successful career. Nothing was going to stand in his way – not even a diploma from the University of Pennsylvania.
In August of 2000, Feldstein’s childhood dream came true when he and business partner Brad Roth launched Stun Creative. The bi-coastal advertising agency is known for its fresh sensibility and its award-winning on-air promotion for cable networks and syndication studios.
Before founding Stun, Feldstein worked with MoPo Entertainment to launch the company’s promotion and commercial division for founder Maury Povich. As vice president of creative affairs, Feldstein spearheaded projects for Showtime, ESPN Classic, Sci-Fi Channel, Studios USA and The Travel Channel (through which he met future business partner Roth). His first short film through MoPo, titled "Karaoke Knight," also led to a development deal with Comedy Central.
Feldstein’s career in promotions and advertising began at a boutique advertising agency in New York City’s Greenwich Village, after which he joined Paramount Domestic Television. During his tenure he wrote and produced promos for "The Jon Stewart Show," which segued to NBC where he helped increase tune-in for "Late Night With Conan O’Brien," "Saturday Night Live" and other network fare.
Feldstein eventually left NBC for Showtime Networks to join its much-publicized "No Limits" re-launch. He also served as senior on-air producer for such Showtime series as "Stargate SG1" and "Linc’s" as well as original pictures including “Lolita.”
In addition to their successful branding and promotion business, Feldstein and Roth wrote, produced and directed the comedy short, "The Swinger” - a three-minute mockumentary starring Chris Elliott, with cameos by Bob Costas and Maury Povich. The Showtime short film was selected to the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.
Feldstein and Roth are also making waves in the world of programming. The two served as executive producers on 13 episodes of Radical Sabbatical for Fine Living Network. The show follows everyday people as they quit their job to pursue a dream.
The two also served as executive producers for “Inside Taken” on the Sci Fi Channel. An hour-long special, this stylized program takes viewers behind-the-scenes of Steven Spielberg’s Emmy award-winning miniseries “Taken.” Until his professional kickball league finds its funding, Feldstein takes pride knowing that the Stun Creative team will continue to grow and generate compelling, dynamic and award-winning content.

BRAD
ROTH
Co-President & Creative Partner
A huge fan of the classic ‘80s TV series “The A-Team,” Brad Roth always dreamed of assembling his own crack squad, he just didn’t know it was going to be in advertising. When he directed Mr. T in a music video for TV Land, he knew he had fulfilled his destiny. That sums up a typical day for Roth at Stun Creative, a bi-coastal advertising agency known for its pop culture sensibility and its award-winning on-air promotion for cable networks and syndication studios.
Roth founded Stun Creative in August 2000 with business partner Mark Feldstein, taking his invaluable experience of helping launch Classic Sports Network and the Travel Channel and applying it to his role as co-president at Stun.
A graduate from the University of Michigan, Roth began his career in New York with a stint as a writer on the MTV sketch comedy series "Red Johnny and the Round Guy." He joined Classic Sports Network in 1995 as a member of the start-up’s launch team. Roth spearheaded on-air promotion as director of creative services, leaving three years later after the network’s successful sale to Disney and its re-branding under the banner of ESPN.
In 1998, Roth left New York for Bethesda, Maryland, to serve as creative director for Discovery Communication’s newly acquired Travel Channel. Roth’s award-winning promotion campaigns included the memorable spots featuring former "Seinfeld" alum John O’Hurley. While at Travel Channel, Roth met Feldstein at an edit facility in New York as they were both finishing post-production on various projects.
Together Roth and Feldstein approached Maury Povichwith the idea of launching Stun Creative, a boutique creative shop. The two partners knew Povich recognized the value of good promotion, as Feldstein had worked with him in the past. Together, they saw an opportunity to expand upon traditional advertising with alternative branding solutions including short films, half-hour/one-hour series and all other forms of content.
In addition to their promo work, Roth and Feldstein are making waves in the world of programming. The two served as executive producers on 13 episodes of Radical Sabbatical for Fine Living Network. The show follows everyday people as they quit their job to pursue a dream.
They also exec produced “Inside Taken” on the Sci Fi Channel. An hour-long special, this stylized program takes viewers behind-the-scenes of Steven Spielberg’s Emmy award-winning miniseries, “Taken.”
The duo also wrote, produced and directed the comedy short, "The Swinger” - a three-minute mockumentary starring Chris Elliott, with cameos by Bob Costas and Maury Povich. “The Swinger” aired regularly on Showtime as part of the network’s "Quick Flick" series. The film was also selected for the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.
Building on his success with Mr. T, Roth hopes to one day produce a full-length hip-hop musical starring the entire cast of “The A-Team.” Until then, he continues to occupy his time as part of the innovative force behind Stun Creative.
